Privacy Policy for Vattenfall Home Assistant
Vattenfall Home Assistant is a personal, self-hosted application used to retrieve energy consumption data from Mijn Vattenfall and import it into Home Assistant.
Google user data
The application uses the Gmail API with read-only access to locate emails from Vattenfall that contain a temporary passwordless login link.
The application does not send, modify, delete, or create email messages. It only processes email messages needed to authenticate with Mijn Vattenfall.
Data storage
Google OAuth credentials are stored locally on the private server running the application.
Email content is not permanently stored by the application. Vattenfall login links are processed only to complete authentication.
Data sharing
Google user data is not sold, transferred, or shared with third parties.
Data use
Google user data is used solely to authenticate with Mijn Vattenfall so that the application can retrieve energy consumption data for use in the owner's Home Assistant installation.
